AR.01 — HOUSE IN TUNQUÉN
A holiday home in the central coast of Chile.
The house is made up by two rectangular wooden volumes, placed side by side over a quadrangular platform and covered with a gabled roof. These volumes hold the house’s most private spaces; like the bedrooms, kitchen and other service areas. Between them, there is a double height open space, occupied by social environments. This loose space, with long proportions and translucent endings, accentuates and frames multiple views towards the Pacific Ocean and the forest, inviting its inhabitants to connect with the natural environment at all times.
